Advanced HTML & CSS

So far in Devslopes we have learned to build a responsive website and good habits to have as a developer but now… now it’s when it gets serious. At the end of each week we are presented with a project to turn in at Devslopes but week#5’s project is different. This project is to build a SaaS site from scratch which it can seem really overwhelming at first but with the help of the resources provided by Devslopes it can definitely become an easier task.

Polishing Your Work

Once we are done with the SaaS site we were able to find the ways to optimize our code. In order to do so we need to take a look at one of the common characteristics that our code has. We can do so by creating classes and ever root items to save under certain presets such as hex code colors, fonts and sizes under rems or px. When we set up our own root items we can save time as well as developing our projects. When we develop our variables we can change that variable and make changes more efficiently instead of manually looking for the changes we need to make. We can also create multiple CSS’s files to keep our Style sheets organized by having different files.
